The Weeknd, 30, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, performed at this year’s Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7. Whoever the singer for the halftime show was this year knew it was going to be difficult due to Covid. It was hard to make the show feel particularly special due to the reduced capacity of fans in the stadium and no guest performers. Fans took to Twitter to review The Weeknd’s performance which has become a meme while others described it as amazing or average.

I loved the halftime show. My favorite part was that for those few minutes,I could get lost in that amazing performance by @theweeknd and everything felt normal. #SuperBowl
